The Bushnell City Council consists of five voting members: Mayor, Vice Mayor and three members each running on four year terms for seats one through five and each having one vote. The Council Chambers are located on the first floor of the Bushnell City Hall at 117 E. Joe P. Strickland, Jr. Avenue.

An affirmative vote of three members is necessary to transact municipal business. The City Council’s regular meetings are held once monthly on the first Monday of the month at 6:00 pm.

The City Council legislate City Ordinances, adopt Resolutions, approve policies, adopt budgets, set the milage rate and conduct other municipal business.

The current Council consists of :

Electric Integration Project Update Meeting

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The City of Bushnell will be holding an Electric Integration Project Update Meeting on Monday, June 12, 2018 at 9:00 am in the Bushnell Council Chambers located at 117 E Joe P. Strickland Jr. Ave. The purpose of the meeting will be to give an update on the progress of the Electric Integration Project (this meeting will be information only and no action can be taken).

BUDGET SALARY WORKSHOP

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The City of Bushnell will be holding a Public Workshop on June 11, 2018 at 6:00 pm, in the Bushnell Council Chambers located at 117 E. Joe P. Strickland, Jr. Ave. The purpose of this workshop is to discuss salaries relating to the FY2018-2019 Proposed Budget.

For the removal of Brush/Vegetation of the following described Project:

 

The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit bids to remove brush/ vegetation. The contractor shall remove all brush/vegetation from site. Approximately 4,000 yards of Brush/Vegetation.

 

The project site is located at Bushnell Public Works 211 Southland Place Bushnell, FL 33513. On January 5, 2017 City Attorney, Felix Adams gave the Induction and Oath of Office for the newly elected Bushnell City Officials. Vice-Mayor/Councilman Bill Durham, Seat 2; Councilman Dale Swain, Seat 4; and Christina Dixon, City Clerk were sworn in for another term of office.
