REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The City of Bushnell is currently accepting proposals for the following project:

CITY OF BUSHNELL, FLORIDA JOB GROWTH INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT FOR SUMTERVILLE WATER SYSTEM UPGRADES PROJECT
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING INSPECTION SERVICES

 The Proposal is for providing Construction Inspection Engineering Services for the Water System Upgrades Project in Sumterville, FL. This project will be using State of Florida funds and will be overseen by the State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity under the Florida Job Growth Infrastructure Grant Program. All DEO standards will apply to this project. All ADA, wage, EEO and DBE requirements must be met.

 An original and five (5) copies of the submittal package shall be submitted to the City of Bushnell, Florida, (Owner), prior to 3:00 PM, local time, Thursday, September 20, 2018, at the office of:

 You must provide the qualifications of your firm as they relate to this project and the requested services. This information must specifically include:

a: Letter of interest
b: Company Information and number of Florida based employees in the firm
c: Experience and qualifications of the project team
d: Familiarity or ability to become familiar with the project
e: Statement of willingness and ability to meet the project schedule
f: A municipal client list and minimum of three (3) current references
g: Past performance in meeting similar project budgets
h: Brief History of the Firm

Provide only relevant experience & qualifications of each technical person who will be involved in the project
Provide a standard SF 254d basic qualification form & copy of current license(s)
Provide a public entity crime statement

Proposals will be opened publicly by the Bushnell City Clerk on September 20, 2018, at 3:05 PM and filed with the City Clerk. Proposals will be turned over and a selection recommendation made to the Bushnell Council during the next council meeting on October 1, 2018.

Proposals will not be valid unless sealed in an envelope and marked "SEALED PROPOSAL" and identified by the name of the firm making the proposal, name of project, and date and time of proposal opening.

The City of Bushnell reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to accept that proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Bushnell. The City of Bushnell also reserves the right to waive any minor technicalities in the proposal review process.

The City of Bushnell is currently accepting sealed bids for directional bores under roadways for the installation of the wiring circuits for the underground Electrical System. A non-mandatory, pre-bid meeting is scheduled at City Hall, 117 E. Joe P. Strickland, Jr. Avenue on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. for anyone interested in hearing more about the project before bidding.

Descriptions, pictures of work areas, bid sheets, and packets are available at Bushnell City Hall, 117 E. Joe P. Strickland, Jr. Avenue, or a PDF format is available on the City of Bushnell’s website below. Completed bids shall be delivered to the attention of Christina Dixon, City Clerk, 117 E. Joe P. Strickland, Jr. Avenue, Bushnell, Florida or mailed to P. O. Box 115, Bushnell, Florida 33513 in time for the bid to be received by our office on the day of opening. All bids shall be delivered by Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 3:00 P.M., and marked “Sealed Bids for Directional Bores.” Bid openings and tabulations will follow immediately in City Hall’s Council Chambers. Bid recommendations will be presented for approval at the next Council Meeting on September 6, 2018.

The City of Bushnell reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to accept bids, not solely based on price. Consideration for the successful bidder will also be based on the ability to meet specifications, delivery times, quality of products, and the bid that best meets the City’s needs and interests.

For the removal of Brush/Vegetation of the following described Project:

 

The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit bids to remove brush/ vegetation. The contractor shall remove all brush/vegetation from site. Approximately 4,000 yards of Brush/Vegetation.

 

The project site is located at Bushnell Public Works 211 Southland Place Bushnell, FL 33513. The Contract period is 30 calendar days to substantial completion.

 

No Bid Bond Required.
