Applications for Utility Services can be obtained by contacting our Customer Service Department and one of our courteous staff will be happy to assist you. Most connection requests for new services can be made the same day. You can also download the Utility Service Application by clicking here.

Utility Payments may be made in person between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm either to one of our friendly staff members or at the drive thru window or the night drop box. You can also pay your bill online using the City’s website from the home page, or you can sign up for auto drafts from your checking account.  Call City Hall for more details at (352) 793-2591 or email using the link below.

Deposits for services are based on several different factors; the City bases a maximum standard deposit on a two month estimated billing for the location. A utility credit check is required for all new customers, cost of $5, if the results come back with a favorable response, you may only have to pay the minimum deposit required or no deposit and the service charge.

Standard Minimum Deposits are as follows: $150.00 for Electric Service; $37.50 for Water Service; $37.50 for Sewer Service; $65.00 for Refuse Service.

Your residence may have any or all of the above services available at that location and deposits are only applied to available services. Contact Customer Service at (352) 793-2591 for questions regarding service availability and other billing information.
CITY OF BUSHNELL - YOUR HOMETOWN ELECTRIC UTILITY PROVIDERAs your municipal Electric Provider, the City of Bushnell is well aware that safe and reliable electricity is essential to our community and part of what makes our city a great place to live and work. As a community-owned utility - a utility that is owned by the customers we serve - we also know how important it is to stay close to our customers and provide them with the personal touch only a hometown utility can offer.

Your Electric Utility provides that personal touch in many ways. Revenues from the Electric Fund makes financial contributions to the City's General Fund that helps to support valuable services and amenities to the citizens, like the Fall Festival, the Kenny Dixon Sports Complex, Parks and Recreation ball fields and basketball courts, paved Streets and Police protection. It's neighbors serving neighbors, a community serving family and friends.

The City of Bushnell is part of a statewide alliance with other consumer owned utilities around Florida. By combining our utility's strengths with the strengths of like-minded utilities, we are working together for the mutual benefit of our customers. This combination of community power and statewide strength makes the City of Bushnell, like other municipal electric providers, able competitors and valuable community assets. Ultimately, it serves the highest goal of making the Bushnell community a better place to live and work, and further enforces the City of Bushnell motto, "Committed to the Quality of Life".
